Published in 2020, this is a 341-page hard cover and thread-bound book, printed in Singapore. The book includes many works of art by Lucy and her husband, sculptor, potter and decorator, Hatton Beck. It also features pottery by Lucy’s son, Robert Beck and his wife, decorator, Margot, and by Margot’s mother and friend of the Boyds, painter, Friedl Gardner.

This book provides a highly visual record of Lucy’s life, from her childhood at Open Country Murrumbeena to her latter years. It includes interviews with Lucy, a summary of her upbringing and a family history, reproductions of articles about Lucy, Hatton and their family, recollections of her by family and friends, Lucy’s reminisces of her early life at Open Country, reproductions of exhibition invitations and much more. It is the only book about Lucy Boyd Beck, and given the personal friendship between the author and Lucy, the only one that will be written with the depth and insight that it has.
